Darcie Hind Posz is an author, genealogist and researcher. She is a member of the Descendants of the Illegitimate Sons and Daughters of the Kings of Britain and enrolled on the list of Kana‘iolowalu (the Native Hawaiian Roll Commission). She served as a verifying genealogist for both the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the National Society, Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century. Other genealogical employment has included, genealogist for the Office of Federal Acknowledgement at the Bureau of Indian Affairs and currently, as the eighth Executive Director for the Board for Certification of Genealogists.

Research in Hawaii, part of the National Genealogical Society’s Research in the State series, was published in 2024. Posz authored two other books, Chicago Stones: A Genealogy of Acquisition, Influence & Scandal and Recast: Vital Events Published in Variety in 1918 and 1919.
